The Beginning

1999

Born and raised in the Big Sky country state of Montana, bred through nature and his surroundings, Don Pez mastered the art of fishing, hunting and gathering. In his early prime he ventured off to the Pacific Waters in Santa Barbara and continued to create, cook and plate.

In 2013 he met “amorage” Nadia, who would later become his life and business partner. They shared a lot of mutual interests but opening a taco bar was at the top of their priorities. With Nadia’s experience in the service industry and knowledge of classic Mexican recipes along with Don Pez’s delicious creations, they were determined to share their passion for food and hospitality with the world.

Don Pez started as a small, intriguing taco stand making its debut at city festivals during the summer of 2019, captivating the taste buds of many as they took their first bite.
