Derived from a savory strive, Don Pez packs flavor, style and authenticity. Fishing for great bites, satisfying fish-lovers appetite, Don Pez cooks up what he describes as Chicago’s tastiest fish taco.

Born in Big Sky Montana, bred through nature and his surroundings, Don Pez mastered the art of fishing, hunting & gathering. In his early prime he ventured off to the Pacific Waters in Santa Barbara and continued to create, cook and plate.

In 2013, while studying & living in Chicago, he teamed up with Nadia Vizcarra, bartender extraordinaire with several years of experience in the industry. They shared a lot of ideas and interests but opening a distinct, tasty taco bar was the ultimate goal. With Nadia’s experience and knowledge of classic Mexican recipes, along with Don Pez’s delicious creations, they were determined to share their passion for food and hospitality with the world.

Don Pez started as an intriguing taco stand making its debut at city festivals during the summer of 2019, captivating the taste buds of many as they took their first bite.
